Rory was born in Philadelphia and moved to Downings, Co. Donegal in 1993. Shortly after moving to Donegal, Ireland, Rory began playing Gaelic football for his local club from the U10 level up to adult Football. In that time Rory was part of U14,U16 and Junior B championship

winning teams. Rory moved back to Philadelphia in 2012, where he started playing for Donegal Philadelphia’s Junior team. Rory has been a pivotal part of the Donegal Philadelphia Junior team’s success; winning every Junior championship since 2012. He has also seen success at the North American level reaching the Junior North American finals 3 times, winning it once in 2018. Rory also contributes to his club off the pitch by acting as the club treasurer since 2019.
